This Clinic is the second part of a two-part TA Clinic series focusing on culturally responsive practices and Domestic Violence Fatality Review Teams (DVFRT) presented by LeTesha Davis Pyke from Ujima. In the first clinic, Ms. Pyke covered the need for culturally specific and culturally responsive services, barriers for and homicide rates of survivors of color. In this clinic, we will fine-tune the focus on DVFRTs including what data from past DVFRTs have shown us about survivors of color, benefits of ensuring they are culturally responsive, how STOP Administrators can assess for and ensure culturally specific responses for DVFRTs, and how DVFRTs can contribute to STOP implementation planning.
